Chris joined Essex in 2018 after working closely with the firm since 2007. He is responsible for helping clients determine how Essex can best meet their needs, assuring “service after the sale” and maintaining best practices. For 15 years, Chris was with Voya Investment Management where he was Vice President-Head of Servicing for the firm’s $13 billion mortgage portfolio. Prior to Voya he spent nine years at Capmark Services where he was Vice President-Portfolio Management responsible for relationship management with firms including Nomura and MetLife. His assigned AUM was $20 billion. Chris has also been an independent advisor to firms wishing to improve their servicing platforms and held positions with distressed real estate debt management firms including Kilburn Young Asset Management, Resolution Trust Corporation and Federal Asset Disposition Association.
Chris earned his BBA-Finance from Georgia State University. He has been active with the Mortgage Bankers Association as a guest panelist and member of various roundtables since 2004.
